June 10, 2026 Bob Rule sent in this photo of Venus and Jupiter in the night sky in early June. The two planets aligned near each other, the closest naked-eye conjunction of the two brightest planets visible in the northern hemisphere. Venus is shining brightly as the evening star while Jupiter appears just above or beside it. The best viewing is 30 to 60 minutes after sunset. |
