Sublette Antelope Migration Corridor announcement event June 26

Governor Mark Gordon (R-WY) will make an announcement regarding the Sublette Antelope Migration Corridor on Friday, June 26, 2026 in Pinedale.
The Governor, alongside Wyoming Game and Fish Department, is holding an event at the Trapper’s Point historic site overlook beginning at 3 p.m. The event is open to the public and the media. There will be no virtual option.
The Governor’s announcement follows the completion of a recommendations report, submitted by the Sublette Antelope Local Working Group. The local working group was charged by the Governor with reviewing the Game and Fish’s risk assessment, corridor components, potential impacts to socio-economic conditions of the region, conservation opportunities, highway projects, and other factors appropriate to the potential designation. Directions: Drive 5 miles west of Pinedale on US Hwy 191 to the Cora junction. Turn south onto the East Green River Rd. In 200 yards turn right at the Trappers Point sign, drive through fence over cattle guard and take the dirt road up the hill to the parking area. It is a short walk up to the top of the hill. Parking is limited; please plan to carpool.
