Burns Night at the Library Jan. 25

The Sublette County Library in Pinedale is hosting Burns Night on Saturday, January 25th from 6-9PM in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library. Calling all musicians, readers and dancers! Join the Library for a somewhat wild celebration featuring Burns’ poetry and songs of the Highlands. Robert Burns lived in the mid-1700s and was a Scottish poet and lyricist.
Expect: - Authentic haggis (vegetarian option available) - Toasting with Scottish whiskey - Bagpipe music throughout the evening - General mid-winter mayhem and merriment
Do: - Wear plaid or a kilt if you have one - Bring a Scottish dish to share at the potluck - Choose to recite a poem or traditional folk ballad by Robert Burns
