Planting for Pollinators

Arlinda McLaughlin and Julie Kraft of the Sage and Snow Garden Club are presenting a free educational event "Planting for Pollinators" on Thursday, April 20, in the Lovatt Room of the Sublette County Library in Pinedale.

The evening begins at 5:30 with refreshments, courtesy of the Sublette County Library, and a seed swap. Participants are encouraged to bring garden seeds and gardening equipment to swap and share with others—all for free.

The presentation will follow at 6:30 and will feature herbs and flowers, including many native flowers, that grow well in Sublette County and attract pollinators. Planting and growing instructions will also be shared, including flowers that grow well in containers. A handout will be given to each participant. The public is welcome to attend.
