Bridges of Sublette County ribbon cutting event May 5th

Everyone is invited to a Ribbon Cutting event for Bridges of Sublette County at the Sublette County Visitor Center, 19 E Pine Street in Pinedale from noon to 1:00PM on Friday, May 5th. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 3rd to admin@bridgesofsublettecounty.org.
Bridges of Sublette County (Bridges) began in Pinedale, Wyoming after several community members attended a Bridges Out of Poverty community workshop in 2017. Over the next few years, these individuals formed a board of directors and created Bridges Out of Poverty of Sublette County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. After which, board members pursued additional Bridges Out of Poverty training for the purposes of educating community members, health professionals, business owners and civic leaders regarding issues related to poverty that exists within Sublette County.
To-date, 30 Sublette County residents are participating in or have graduated from Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin'-By World, an 18-session course which educates attendees (known as Investigators) about poverty and assists them in improving their economic stability as they seek to transition out of poverty. These individuals and their families also participate in monthly, ongoing Staying Ahead enrichment activities. With generous support from community members, partners and sponsors, Bridges continues to be successful in facilitating getting ahead and staying ahead opportunities for Sublette County residents.
