Hugh Glass display The real Hugh Glass story is different from the Hollywood version. OCTA Video Oregon-California Trail Association, www.octa- trails.org

The Oregon-California Trails Association (OCTA) released a new video on their YouTube channel on December 9th that features the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale. "Before the Oregon Trail, trappers and traders explored the American West and laid the foundation for the great western migration of the 1840s and 50s." The short video highlights several of the displays in the Museum including touching on the accuracy of the Hugh Glass grizzly bear attack story featured in the recent movie "The Revenant," as well as showing a replica of an 1876 warrior society buffalo hide tipi, and an authentic replica of a Native American war shirt from the 1823 Arikara battle.
