Western Wyoming can expect three more days of beautiful fall weather and then we’ll have a brush with winter over the weekend. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with daytime temperatures in the 60Fs and nighttime lows in the 20Fs. A strong cold front will push across the area over the weekend bringing the first snow that could reach the valley floor. High winds are expected Thursday and Friday in Wyoming ahead of the cold front. Friday night and Saturday could see rain showers that turn to snow. Daytime temps will plummet 50Fs, 40Fs, to 30Fs by Sunday with nighttime lows dropping into the teens. Chance of snow showers around Pinedale through next Tuesday. The area mountains will get snow. Roads are good across Wyoming this morning, however drivers should be aware that big game wildlife are moving now and watch for animals along roadways (elk, deer, pronghorn, moose), especially along US 191 and 189 between Farson/LaBarge to Pinedale.
