A big crowd turned out for the groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, August 25th for the new Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Pinedale. The ceremony was held on the old Pinedale ballfields, where the new hospital will move onto. Representatives from the Sublette County Hospital District Board, Sublette Center Board, Sublette County Emergency Medical Services, Star Valley Health, Senator Barrasso’s office, and other local politicians were on hand to grab a shovel for the ground breaking. The new CAH will be built over the next two years, with completion expected in 2024.
