2019 Garden Tour & Tea August 3rd

The Sage & Snow Garden Club will host their 2019 annual Garden Tour & Tea on Saturday, August 3rd. Everyone is welcome. Learn how to garden in a challenging environment while enjoying time with other gardeners. Bring your spouse, partner, children, friends, and family. There will be lots of good food and drinks at the first and third stops of the tour. This year’s tour will include three stops. It will start at 1:00PM and go to 6:00PM, ending with a dinner. Garden tour and dinner are free and open to the public. Please RSVP so they can get an accurate count for the dinner.
1-2PM: Bettina and Rollie Sparrowe 10 Night Hawk Lane, Daniel, 307-231-1342 Features: Beautiful perennial flower beds, mini greenhouse, in-ground vegetable garden, trees and shrubs, all in a beautiful creek-side setting. Snacks and drinks will be served. Directions: Take US 191 to the Daniel Junction. Turn south on US 189 towards Daniel. Across from the Green River Bar, turn east into the Historical Site of the Green River Rendezvous (where there are lots of trees). Park and walk east at the end of the trail to the first house. 2–3PM: Linda & Bob Hayward and Jennifer & Chad Hayward Jennifer & Chad are at 1009 Daniel Merna Road, Daniel, 307-360-6564 Linda & Bob are at 80 Horseshoe Road, Daniel, 307-360-8412 Features: Beautiful flowers, attached greenhouse, large hoop house with drip irrigation, in-ground vegetable garden beds Directions: From Daniel Junction, head north on US 191. Travel approximately ½ mile, turn west at the Daniel Merna Road (Highway 354). Travel 9.9 miles and turn left at Jennifer & Chad’s house on the left. Travel 9.6 miles on Highway 354 and turn right onto Horseshoe Road to Linda and Bob’s house (go clear to the end of the lane). Last names beginning with A-M will go Jennifer’s house first. Last names beginning with N-Z will go to Linda’s house first. Then, we will switch at the halfway time.
3-5PM: Arlinda and Ken McLaughlin 217 South Lincoln Ave., Pinedale, 307-231-9402 Features: Raised bed vegetable gardens, container gardens, strawberries, raspberries, bee flower gardens, herb garden. Dinner will be served—pulled pork, sides, desserts, and drinks. Directions: From Daniel Junction, head north on US 191 to Pinedale. Turn south at the Pine Creek Bridge onto Lincoln Ave. Go two blocks south--gray house on the left.
