Sublette GOP holds candidate forum

The Sublette County Republican Party held a forum in Pinedale on Tuesday, July 24th for local candidates. Over 80 people attended. The evening began with State Senator Fred Baldwin from Kemmerer introducing the uncontested candidates. Each spoke about what they have been working on and/or their vision for the future for their respective offices.
Candidates and offices they are running for were: Janet Montgomery - Clerk of District Court Emily Paravicini - County Treasurer KC Lehr - County Sheriff Albert Sommers - State Representative for House District 20 Jeness Saxton - County Assessor Curt Covill - County Coroner
After a short break, State Senator Fred Baldwin introduced the three candidates running for County Clerk: Rhonda Egle, Carrie Long, and Tara Bolgiano, as well as candidates running for County Attorney: Clay Kainer and Mike Crosson. Then Mr. Baldwin conducted the forum, running through opening remarks, questions, and closing remarks. All county Republican candidates were also invited and many participated in the Meet and Greet opportunities at the beginning, during the break, and at the end of the forum.

The next Republican event will be Monday, August 6th for the Republican Governor/US Senate/US Representative candidates to come to Sublette County.
