In the early morning hours of September 25, 2017 Sublette County Unified Fire was dispatched to a residential structure fire on White Point Road near Cora, Wyoming.

Sublette County Unified Fire Battalion 6 (Kendall Valley), Battalion 3 (Bondurant) and Battalion 1 (Pinedale) were dispatched to the fire. Upon arrival the fire department discovered the entire home was completed involved in fire.

Firefighters worked throughout the night and into the following morning to suppress the fire. Unfortunately, the home was a complete loss, but firefighters were able to save the adjacent guest house and barn.

Late discovery of the fire, narrow roads, and bridge limitations were contributing factors to the severity of the fire loss.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.

The fire is currently under investigation however no cause has been determined yet.
