Artist of the Year 2016 Announcement Party June 17 One of the paintings is of Green River Lakes and Square Top Mountain in the Wind River Mountains north of Pinedale.

The Jackson Hole Art Association will hold their Artist of the Year 2016 Announcement Party on Friday, June 17 at 6 p.m. at Jackson Hole Still Works, 3940 S. Eagle View Drive.

Guests at the Party will have the opportunity of picking the winner from the eight finalists. Enjoy a complimentary cocktail and hors d'oeuvres and then vote for the winner who will be revealed that night and receive the distinction of being named the 2016 Art Association of Jackson Hole's Artist of the Year. The artist will win $2000 and their winning artwork will be reproduced on Jackson Hole Still Works--Highwater Vodka bottle label for one year.

Tickets are $15 at the door. For more information, call The Art Association at 307-733-6379. (All artists who entered the competition may attend for free)

The 2016 Art Fair will be July 8 - 10.
