Applications being accepted to fill opening for Sublette County Sheriff

Due to the removal of the Sublette County Sheriff from his elected position, the position of Sheriff is now vacant.
In accordance with Wyoming statutes, the Sublette County Republican Party Central Committee is accepting requests from candidates to fill the remainder of the term, and three candidates will be selected. These names will be given to the Sublette County Commissioners, who will select one of the three to become Sheriff.
Job requirements: "Qualified elector" "Qualified elector" includes every citizen of the United States who is a bona fide resident of Wyoming, has registered to vote and will be at least eighteen (18) years of age on the day of the election at which he may offer to vote. No person is a qualified elector who is a currently adjudicated mentally incompetent person, or who has been convicted of a felony and his civil or voting rights have not been restored. Requests to be considered for Sheriff, along with resumes, can be submitted as follows: Step 1: Either hand deliver your resume to Debbie Vickrey (307)360-7504 at McKee, Marburger & Fagnant, P.C., 621 South Pine Street, Suite A, Pinedale or email to Colleen Martin (307)413-9127, Sublette County Republican Chairman at mrtnclln@hotmail.com. Step 2: Once you have submitted your name and resume to either Debbie Vickrey or Colleen Martin, you will be given a list of names of the Sublette County Committeemen. Applicants will be responsible for getting copies of their resumes to the names on this list.
Closing date is Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 5:00 pm. No applications will be considered after that deadline.
All interviews will take place Thursday, June 23rd.
Due to time restraint the use of the U.S. Postal Service is not recommended.
