Kay Porter Ricks is missing
Ricks is described as a white male, approximately 5’6" tall, and weighing 180lbs. He has brown/ balding hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans, and may have been wearing a bright orange safety vest. The pick-up truck he was driving is a 2013 white Ford F-150, with a truck-bed mounted equipment rack, UTA markings and bearing Utah license plate #206886. Ricks, an employee with UTA, had gone missing from Salt Lake City at around the same time that Flint Wayne Harrison, 51, and his son, Dereck James Harrison, 22, were last known to be in the Salt Lake City area, after fleeing the scene of a kidnapping and assault in Centerville, Utah. Ground searches around Fremont and Half Moon Lake show no signs of missing vehicle

(Pinedale, Wyoming – May 17, 2016, 5:17PM) A ground search for the missing Utah Transit Authority maintenance worker, Kay Porter Ricks, 63, was completed in the Fremont Lake and Half Moon Lake area of Sublette County this afternoon, after a search team completed a check of all vehicle- accessible roads surrounding those areas, with no sign of the vehicle.

Weather permitting, the search will resume on Wednesday morning, when the use of a search and rescue boat equipped with sonar will be deployed into the Fremont and Half Moon lakes.

Ricks, an employee with UTA, had gone missing from Salt Lake City at around the same time that Flint Wayne Harrison, 51, and his son, Dereck James Harrison, 22, were last known to be in the Salt Lake City area, after fleeing the scene of a kidnapping and assault in Centerville, UT. According to the Centerville Police Department and UTA Police Department, no evidence has been discovered connecting the two cases, but both incidents are still under investigation at this time.

Anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of Ricks is asked to contact law enforcement authorities immediately.
