White Pine opens for the season

When 9AM rolled round on opening day at White Pine, among those who lined up for the first chairs was Dennis "Bomber" Hamon, a 67-year old, who for the last three seasons, has skied at White Pine every day the lifts were running. "I am retired and it’s a great way to keep fit," said Bomber, a retired veteran. Over the summer Bomber has had knee surgery and was excited that after a few runs off Little Spirit his knee was holding up well. "Can’t wait to be back again tomorrow," exclaimed Bomber as he took off for his next chair.
