KEMMERER, WYOMING, Feb. 7, 2014 - Stage 7 of the International PEDIGREE® Stage Stop Sled Dog Race, also known as the Kemmerer Leg has been cancelled due to weather conditions affecting the trail.

Overnight snowfall continuing through the morning had accumulated on the trail exceeding depths of three feet. Blowing wind was expected to increase causing drifting snow to infill the trail immediately behind grooming equipment. Combined with whiteout conditions, it was determined by the race officials that an environment of safe competition could not be provided. The final stage of the race is scheduled to take place, as scheduled, beginning at 9:00 am Saturday February 8th outside Mountain View/Lyman and finishing outside Evanston.
