Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. sent out the following update on the status of the five workers who were injured in Friday’s (Nov. 22, 2013) explosion at one of their locations in the Jonah Field.
"Following yesterday's incident at Encana's Antelope 91-29H Facility in which five people were hurt, I'm pleased to share that three of the individuals that were taken to nearby hospitals have been treated and were released this morning. The other two remain in the hospital and we are hopeful that they will be making a full recovery in the coming weeks. These men and their families remain in our thoughts this weekend. We are thankful for the quick response and the hard work of the emergency responders, our environmental health and safety and operations teams that aided in yesterday's incident. Encana and the contracting company are working with OSHA - Wyoming in this ongoing investigation."
