The premiere performance of the stage production of "Three Worlds Meet" was held Friday & Saturday nights, July 12th & 13th, at the Pinedale Auditorium. The production uses on-stage characters to recreate the people who appear in the paintings by artist Alfred Jacob Miller who was in the Upper Green River Valley for the 1837 Rendezvous near present-day Pinedale, Wyoming. The production, two years in the making, uses over 100 images of Miller’s art; 11 of which are presented as "tableaux vivants". The production cast includes several local residents and features living history interpreters from the American Mountain Men, as well as Bannock and Shoshone Indian tribes of the area. Actors wear authentic, historically accurate dress—not theatrical costumes—and all are using realistic implements. Admission was free.
