Sublette County Firefighters 23rd Annual Fundraiser Golf Tournament
 by TJ Hunt
 July 27, 2013
Another firefighter fundraiser golf tournament was held on Saturday, July 20th. Sixty four golfers played golf and enjoyed BBQ at the Rendezvous Meadows golf course in Pinedale.
Charlie Golden Jr., the Grill Master, did an excellent job again with the BBQ. The salads from Nan Mckeough, Sharon Bien and Jackie Hunt were also a great success. Thank you for all the help.
The hose hole this year turned out to be as difficult as it has ever been. We had two putt with a fireman axe on hole six with fire shelters adding to the challenge. Also we gave closest to the Fire Hydrant prize.
The proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the training facility and part-time training officer’s salary. The facility is used by all the firefighters to maintain their current qualifications and enable veteran firefighters to update their training. This in-turn enables Sublette County Firefighters to provide the very best volunteer fire protection.
