Hunters have killed 34 wolves thus far in Wyoming's trophy game hunting season, of the state's quota of 52 wolves. In addition, hunters have killed 16 wolves in Wyoming's predator zone where no quota applies.

For comparison, hunters in Minnesota have killed more than 110 wolves in that state's first regulated wolf hunt. Minnesota has an overall quota of 200 wolves.
