Searchers continue to look for missing plane and pilot

Search efforts have resumed this morning for the downed aircraft in western Sublette County. Tip Top Search and Rescue along with Lincoln County Search and Rescue are continuing the ground search with snowmobile teams. Nearly two feet of new snow has fallen since the aircraft was reported overdue late Saturday afternoon.
Fixed wing aircraft of the Civil Air Patrol and the Teton County Search and Rescue helicopter are resuming the search due to improved weather conditions and visibility. Temporary flight restrictions are in place over the search area. The Cessna 182 was en route to Pinedale from Stevensville, Montana when radar contact was lost in the area west of the Upper Hoback road (County Road 174).
The pilot of the aircraft, 63-year old Myles McGinnis of La Barge, Wyoming was the only occupant.
