Hunters have killed 29 wolves thusfar in Wyoming's trophy game hunting season, crossing the half-way mark of the state's quota of 52 wolves. In addition, hunters have killed 15 wolves in Wyoming's predator zone where no quota applies.

For comparison, news accounts report that 50 wolves were killed during the opening weekend of Minnesota's first managed wolf hunt.
