Assault reported in Pinedale

At approximately 10:30 a.m. Wednesday October 24th, the Sublette County Sheriff's Office dispatch center received a report of a medical call at the Pinedale SAFV house. Deputies and EMS immediately responded to the location. A 30-year-old female was found and treated for multiple injuries, transported to the Pinedale medical clinic, and ultimately air lifted to Idaho Falls for further medical treatment.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the injuries were sustained from an assault.
This incident is currently under investigation by the SCSO. A Wyoming State Crime Lab team from Cheyenne is assisting in the investigation.
There are no indications that this crime is related to any other crime, past or present, being investigated by the SCSO.
The assault is believed to have occurred late Tuesday evening or in the early morning hours of Wednesday. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to please contact the Sheriff's Office at 307-367-4378.
