Work on Rocky Mountain Power’s Anticline Electrification Project is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 10, following the recent approval of a required permit by the Bureau of Land Management. A new 25 kilovolt distribution line will be built to serve three industrial customers at seven separate locations in the Pinedale Anticline natural gas field.

The main distribution line will be nearly 14 miles long. It will begin at a point south of Pinedale and west of Boulder, near the intersection of Paradise Road and North Anticline Road, and will run south across the New Fork River and continue to a point about five miles south of Highway 351. Including tap lines, there will be approximately 20 miles of new distribution line in total. Construction is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
