Flag half-staff notification
In honor of Neil Armstrong, Commander of Apollo 11 and first man to walk on the Moon

Pursuant to President Barack Obama’s Proclamation, Governor Matt Mead, has ordered both the U.S. and the State of Wyoming flag be flown at half-staff statewide from sunrise to sunset on Friday, August 31, 2012 in respect and memory of Neil Armstrong, Commander of Apollo 11.

Editor’s Note: Neil Armstrong passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at age 82 (August 5, 1930 – August 25, 2012).
