Big Piney High School Fire Camp Big Piney High School served as a perfect place for basecamp for the Fontenelle Fire command center. Scroll down for more photos

The Fontenelle Fire camp is based out of the Big Piney High School, which works great with school being out for the summer. Here are photos from a visit on Saturday morning, June 30th.

The parking lot is full of vehicles, semi-trucks, tents, trucks, generators, pallets of supplies, and more. Green grassy areas have morphed into tent cities as sleeping places for firefighters and administrative personnel. There are 265 people working on the fire. Cost of the fire to date is over one million dollars.
