SCSD#1 offers Summer Reading programs

Sublette County School District #1 is offering 2012 K-12 Enrichment Summer School and Kindergarten Reading Readiness.
The Enrichment is from June 12 through July 2nd. The Reading Readiness is from June 18 – June 29th. Both are from 8:00AM until noon. The programs are for Sublette County School District #1 students and there is no cost.
Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade students are invited to participate in a variety of creative learning experiences in reading, writing, and math applied to activities such as theatre, art, computers, or dance.
Reading Readiness focuses on the skills of reading, writing, listening, speaking, math, following directions, and other pre-kindergarten skills. High school students have the opportunity for credit recovery in Math and English/Language Arts. Mid-morning snacks will be provided. Students will be given the opportunity to learn differently: Enrichment Summer School focuses on hands-on, experiential, twenty-first century learning.

Bus routes run from Daniel Junction Hwy 191 to Pinedale City Limits with pickups along the highway. A bus route also runs from the Boulder Store with pickups along the Frontage Road and Meadow Lark pull-out with additional pickups along Hwy 191 to Pinedale city limits. NO TRANSPORTATION FOR STUDENTS IN TOWN. NO TRANSPORTATION FOR READING READINESS STUDENTS ON JUNE 18, ONLY. An after-school shuttle runs from Pinedale Elementary to BOCES.
