Dave Bell hiked out of Sweetwater Guard Station on Memorial Day, Monday, May 2th, enjoying an alternating warm and snowy day as flurries rolled through all day long. "This is a pretty area that I have never visited before. It is worthy of more exploration. The trail traverses an old fire (1988) and does contain a healthy dose of fallen dead timber.
