Home Brewing workshop Nov. 17
by Sublette County Library
November 8, 2011
Join us for a home brewing workshop! Thursday November 17th. This is presented by the brew masters of the Wind River Brewing Company in Pinedale.
The Sublette County Pinedale Library is hosting "Home Brewing 101," set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17th, in the Lovatt Room, 155 S Tyler.
Brewmeisters: Eric, Richie, and Cooper, of Wind River Brewing Company, will show you how to make great beer in your kitchen. You’ll be introduced to the ingredients that make beer, and be shown every step it takes to make your own signature brew. Participants will learn about beer regions, and types of beer.
You must be at least 21-years old to attend. Beer is one of the world's oldest prepared beverages, possibly dating back to the early Neolithic or 9500 BC, when cereal was first farmed, and is recorded in the written history of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Archaeologists speculate that beer was instrumental in the formation of civilizations.
