High Wind Watch through Thursday morning
November 30, 2011
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch through Thursday morning for the Upper Green River Basin, Pinedale, Big Piney, LaBarge and Farson areas.
Strong downslope winds likely developing after 8 pm Wednesday evening and continuing through Thursday morning. Northeast wind 40 to 50 mph with gusts of 60 to 65 mph. These strong winds will likely impact areas along and east of Highway 191 from Farson and Eden to Pinedale and Highway 28 east of Farson. Dangerous crosswind will be likely along these routes. Operators of high profile and lightweight vehicles should be prepared for the possibility of dangerous crosswind.
