Mini-Bulls Donny Proffit had a great ride on his bull, but the landing was a little bit rough. Calf Roping Cowboys and cowgirls had to rope a calf within the alloted time. The event was open to kids as young as 7-years old. Hours of practice showed for the cowkids who caught their calf with a precision throw. Pictured here is Cole Redmond.

The 2011 Lil’ Buckaroo Rodeo was held on Sunday, July 3rd, as part of the 4th of July Big Piney/Marbleton Chuckwagon Days events. It was held in the Ag Arena at the Sublette County Fairgrounds. The rodeo is for kids 12 and under. Events included bareback riding, calf roping, mutton busting, goat tail tying, calf riding, barrel racing and mini-bull riding.

The event was sponsored by Encana Natural Gas.
