Contracts totaling $12.1 million for eight projects around the state were awarded by the Wyoming Transportation Commission during its regular monthly meeting in March in Cheyenne. Below is the project in the list that will take place in Sublette County:

LeGrand Johnson was successful in its bid of $1.3 million to improve safety on US 191 by building up fill slopes adjacent to the roadway between mileposts 19 and 27 in Sweetwater County north of Rock Springs and between mileposts 74 and 83 in Sublette County south of Pinedale. The project includes installing a new weigh station near milepost 75, just south of US 191’s junction with WYO 351. The work is expected to be completed by Nov. 30.
