Pinedale School meeting pproximately 250 people turned out for the Pinedale public meeting on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Pinedale Auditorium. Big Piney-Marbleton school meeting Approximately 250 people turned out for the Big Piney/Marbleton meeting on Wednesday, March 23rd at the Marbleton Senior Center.

Sublette County School District #1 held a public meeting on Tuesday, March 22nd to let the public voice their thoughts about the request by Sublette County School District #9 for $1.5 million dollars of BOCES/Rec tax monies. Over fifty citizens from Pinedale and Big Piney spoke to the School Board on the topic. The meeting was held in the Pinedale Auditorium.

The following night, Sublette County School District #9 held a similar community meeting at the Marbleton Senior Center. A similar large crowd attended this meeting and asked questions about the parity of funding issue. SCSD#9 said they wanted to keep a dialog with SCSD#1 to discuss the disparity in the funding between the two school districts.
