Fuel prices have risen from $.30 to $.50 cents per gallon in Sublette County since January, 2011. Pinedale Online regularly surveys 7 gas stations in Sublette County (three in Pinedale, two in Big Piney, two in Marbleton) to obtain average fuel prices.
From January to mid-March, 2011, Pinedale prices for regular unleaded (RU) and diesel (D) fuel have increased more than prices in Big Piney/Marbleton (+$.52 cents RU and +$.49 cents D in Pinedale, compared to +$.36 RU and +$.43 D in Big Piney/Marbleton).
In Wyoming, regular unleaded prices have increased an average of $.44 cents/gallon. Diesel prices have increased an average of $.53 cents per gallon.
Nationally, regular unleaded prices have increased an average of $.47 cents/gallon and diesel prices have risen an average of $.60 cents per gallon for the same January to mid-March time period.
As of March 13, 2011, Sublette County regular unleaded average prices were higher than the average price in Wyoming, but lower than the average price across the United States. Sublette County diesel average prices in both Pinedale and Big Piney/Marbleton were higher than both the average price for diesel in Wyoming and the US.
