Wyoming school districts must disclose names and salaries of their employees March 30, 2011 The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press posted an article on March 30th saying the Wyoming Supreme Court affirmed that Wyoming school districts must disclose the names and salaries of their employees under the state public records act. The March 29th decision was related to the case: Laramie County School District No. One v. Cheyenne Newspapers, Inc.. Cheyenne Newspapers publishes the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle. The court noted that its ruling did not include access to employees' personal addresses, telephone numbers and birth dates, which may also be contained in salary data records.
