9th Annual Caroline Classic March 12th
At White Pine Ski Area

The 9th Annual Caroline Classic Giant Slalom ski race will be held at White Pine Ski Area on Saturday, March 12th. The event will be a two-run giant slalom on the Fremont run. Racing classes are from Junior to age 50+.
Entry fee is $10 for pre-registration, which includes a 2011 Caroline Classic t-shirt. Registration will be on Saturday morning. All Sublette County Ski & Snowboard Association athletes and coaches are free and pre-registered. Entry fee on race day is $15. Pre-registration deadline is Wednesday, March 9th at 5:00PM. Email: Dari Quirk quirk@vcn.com. PLEASE INCLUDE NAME, GENDER & YEAR OF BIRTH and SKI or SNOWBOARD for all participants. All athletes must have a SCSSA waiver release signed by parent/guardian. (SCSSA athletes are all set.) Race headquarter is downstairs in the White Pine Ski Area Base Lodge.
Discounted lift tickets will be available on race day for all registered athletes and their families. Tickets can be purchased on race day with a credit card, check or cash.

Schedule: Saturday, March 12, 2010
8:00 am - 9:00 am: Bib pick-up / Event day registration
9:00 am: Lifts open for athletes
9:15 am: Course inspection opens
9:45 am: Lower Start J6, J7, J8 and all Snowboard classes
10:45 am: Upper Start for all other Alpine classes
2nd run: ASAP – but after re-set, if needed
Awards: Outside in base area approx. 45 minutes after the conclusion of the second runs.
