Scott Almdale recently took a week-long, 40-mile round trip backpacking trip in the northern Wind River Mountains. "The Sierra Club backpacking trip into Bridger Wilderness was designated for interested party members who were 50 years of age or above. There were 12 of us. Two were leaders who guided the trip. I was the only one from Pinedale, and the others came from all over the United States…. Along the way, we saw some stunning panoramas of the alpine country, the ever-changing Green River scenery with gorges, and incredible wildflower meadows."
