One-day Horse Clinic June 19

The Mountain Man Back Country Horsemen (MMBCH) will sponsor a one-day horse clinic on Saturday, June 19th. Jennifer Hayward, local horse trainer, will instruct the course. It will be held at Sullivan’s Arena west of Boulder from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The session will work on various trail attributes that are needed in the back country, including moving the hindquarters or front quarters, backing, side-passing, working around obstacles such as bridges, and other things that may be important when trail riding.
Anyone wanting to gain added insight into creating a better horse is encouraged to attend. Both members and non-members of MMBCH are welcome. Cost is $50 for horse and rider, but the class is limited to 15 people. Spectators can observe the course for $15. Attendees should bring their own lunch.
