CRIMESTOPPERS: Be on lookout for Black Pickup
by Sublette County Sheriff’s Office
June 8, 2010
The Sheriff’s Office is requesting your assistance in locating a Black Crew Cab, either GMC or Chevrolet pickup with possibly two male occupants. These individuals activated flashing headlights and an audible siren and approached a female subject walking her dog on Burnt Lake Road. They told her they could not see the tab on her license plate. When she looked at the license and found the tab in place she turned to talk to them and they sped off. Please exercise caution when approached in remote areas by any vehicle matching this description.
The Sheriff’s Office operated Black Dodge pickups, but they are equipped with both red and blue flashing lights. The vehicle in question did not activate any red or blue lights, just flashing headlights and a siren.
If you are approached by this vehicle, please drive to a safe location and call the Sheriff’s Office immediately, 307-367-4378 (Dispatch). If possible get license plate information so we can locate these individuals and stop this activity.
Please be safe.
John Wells, Captain Sublette County Sheriff’s Office
