Black Cloud Storm cloud from June 6, 2010, in the Upper Green. Photo by Dave Bell.

Dave Bell captured this strange black cloud on Sunday. "Shot with a Canon 7D and a 400MM f2.8 with a 1.4 Extender about 7:30PM Sunday evening. Cloud was roughly over the Upper Green River probably in the vicinity of the Big Bend area of the Green River."

Dave said this color photo is the true color of the real cloud. He said the National Weather Service in Riverton is looking at it trying to tell if it was a Shelf Cloud, Wall Cloud or Funnel Cloud.
