Attention High School Students: If you have an interest in exploring child care/teaching as a career, you may want to know that the Sublette County Child Care Coalition is offering a $1000.00 internship to high school students this summer.

Students will prepare a resume, complete a brief application, and interview with the Sublette County Child Care Coalition Board. Interviews will be scheduled in Pinedale in early June, and Big Piney at the end of June. You will be contacted.

Successful applicants will commit to assist the instructors for the Big Piney and Pinedale Elementary School’s summer programs. Both programs are a 1/2 day in the mornings five days/week. Pinedale Summer school starts on June 9, 2010 and ends June 29, 2010. Big Piney Summer School starts July 7, 2010 and ends August 17, 2010.

Interns must attend summer school daily and demonstrate active participation in activities outlined by their superior. Internship funding will be based on an evaluation with the summer school supervisor. Attendance and participation are critical elements for evaluation.
