Community event and fundraiser for the historic Daniel Schoolhouse

The 29th Aniel Daniel Chili Cookoff & Dessert Auction will be held on Saturday, March 27th at the historic Daniel Schoolhouse. The event is an annual tradition for the tiny town of Daniel, Wyoming, population 110.
The Chili Cook-off has categories for red and green chili. 80 percent of the proceeds go back to the winners. Cost for the meal is $5 per person and $15 per family (no charge for chili entrants).
The Dessert Auction is a fundraiser for the Daniel Community Center in the historic Daniel Schoolhouse. The building is at 18 Schoolhouse Lane (turn west at the Green River Bar) and drive down back into the schoolhouse, located a short ways back off the main road. Everyone is welcome and invited to join in the fun!
Schedule
4:00-5:00 pm: Chili Entry Check-in:Red & green categories. $10 entry fee. 80% of proceeds go to winners. Embroidered aprons also awarded. Bring a crockpot (name & phone on bottom) of chili to be plugged in at the schoolhouse.
5:00-6:00 pm Chili Judging
6:00 pm Dinner: $5 per person or $15 per family (no charge for chili entrants).
7:00 pm Dessert Auction/Fundraiser: Bring any dessert. Prizes: best decorated & biggest money raiser. Funds run the Daniel Community Center.
