Senior James Jones Head Coach Cole Clifford Coach Bill Lehr and team

The Big Piney Punchers had their second appearance on NBC during the Toyota Line of Scrimmage Halftime Show during the game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals.

Over the course of the summer, the film crew visited eight teams. They were:
1. Big Piney Punchers, Big Piney, Wyoming
2. Brophy Prep Broncos, Phoenix, Arizona
3. Arlington-Parkersburg Falcons, Parkersburg, Iowa
4. Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles, Frederick, Maryland
5. Cathedral Fighting Irish, Indianapolis, Indiana
6. E.E. Smith Golden Bulls, Fayetteville, North Carolina
7. Sunshine Tigers, Newbern, Alabama
8. Boys Ranch Roughriders, Boys Ranch, Texas

Here is what the program said in describing why the Big Piney Punchers was one of the teams selected to be highlighted: "The Line of Scrimmage chose the Big Piney Punchers of Big Piney, Wyoming as the final school in the search for the "Gutsiest Teams in America." Reason being, Big Piney is known as the "Ice Box of The Nation" due to its extreme cold temperatures."
