Pinedale Town Council meeting Jan 26
Unclear if Ordinance 442-Site Plans will be discussed
January 25, 2009
The Pinedale Town Council will hold their regular council meeting on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 5:30 PM at the Pinedale Town Hall, 210 W Pine Street.
In addition to routine business and department head reports, agenda items include: - Public hearing on the Pinedale Campground annexation, 204 South Jackson Avenue (Buston). - 24-Hour Liquor Sales/4 Times per Year, Pat Bozner/Corral Bar - Jeff Soltis, University of Wyoming, Ozone
There will be a time slot for Citizen Concerns.
Ordinance 442? The agenda published in the January 22 edition of the Sublette Examiner (pg 16) lists "ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ETC" prior to Other Town Business and Presentation of Bills. The agenda does not clarify whether or not the Council will do the Second Reading of controversial Ordinance 442 on Site Plans. The Council and Town Engineer Eugene Ninnie have publicly stated they feel this is an administrative procedural ordinance that does not warrant public input or review, despite packed audience attendance at both Planning & Zoning and Town Council meetings where the public believed this topic was to be discussed.
"In accordance with the town of Pinedale zoning code there is no obligation of the planning and zoning Board or the town Council to hold a public discussion or workshop or public hearing in regards to ordinance creations," said Eugene Ninnie, Pinedale Town Engineer.
Any public that has comments or concerns about the proposed new ordinance is encouraged to attend the meeting on Monday night to voice any concerns they might have in the event the Council decides to do the second reading.
