WANTED: Mystery Lovers at your Library

Mystery writers Sue Grafton, Sara Paretsky and Marcia Muller share at least one common denominator. Their spunky female main characters have forever changed detective fiction. Women of Mystery, a reading and discussion series sponsored by the Wyoming Humanities Council (WHC) Reading Wyoming Program and lead by Dick Kaler.
Participants are meeting at Sublette County Library, located on 155 South Tyler Avenue, at 11:30 a.m. on the first Monday of each month this fall to share their points of view. Mystery lovers of all ages are encouraged to stop by the Monday, October 6, 2008 and join in the spirited discussion on Grafton’s bestselling Kinsey Millhone novel, F is for Fugitive. Mystery lovers who can only be there in spirit are also encouraged to add their opinions. Reading Wyoming now has a wiki, which the WHC hopes will become a lively forum for readers in the program http://wyominghumanitiescouncil.pbwiki.com/Reading-Wyoming. In order to participate, contributors need to register. Simply click on the "log in" link, and from there, go to request access. Once approved, they can start adding remarks immediately.
"We chose this format because wikis are simple and easy to use," said Jenny Ingram from WHC. "Even participants lacking confidence in the area of technology should be able to use it, with perhaps just a little coaching the first time".
