Earlier today, a federal court judge in Washington, D.C. ruled that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's final rule delisting wolves in the Great Lakes region is illegal.

The court decided with animal right organizations including The Humane Society of the United States, Help Our Wolves Live, Animal Protection Institute, and Friends of Animals and Their Environment.
