New Fork Lakes Fire still active

The New Fork Lakes Fire, burning 19-miles north of the town of Pinedale, Wyoming on the Bridger-Teton National Forest is slowly growing and continuing to move into the Bridger Wilderness area. The fire is approximately 2500 acres. There are no road or trail closures associated with this fire.
The fire was determined to be human caused and is burning beetle killed trees. There is no estimated date for when the fire will be contained.
