Fundraiser for the volunteer fire department

The Kendall Valley Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting their Grand Opening celebration and 2nd annual BBQ and Open House on Saturday, August 16th. In addition to socializing, the event is a fundraiser for the volunteer fire department. "We came to your fire, please come to our BBQ!"
Admission is $10 or 2 for $15. Kids 12 and under are free. There will be burgers, hot dogs, side dishes and beverages served. Tickets are available from any KVVFD firefighter and at the door.
The BBQ will be at 2470 Highway 352, north of Cora. (follow the signs)
There will be a silent auction, a dessert auction, door prizes and drawings.
The Grand Opening Ceremony begins at Noon. Local dignitaries will be present. The BBQ will follow. Bring your own lawn chairs!
Anyone wishing to donate to the live auction, silent auction or dessert auction, please contact Lois Buchanan at 307-367-2227. The fire department also is in need of furniture, bottled water and non-perishable food for the firefighters in the station.
