Fireworks prohibited in Sublette County
Also not allowed on National Forest or BLM land

Visitors and residents are reminded that fireworks are not allowed anywhere in Sublette County, including on private land. Fireworks are also prohibited on National Forest and BLM land.
Using or even possessing fireworks is illegal on national forests. Violators could face a fine and/or prison sentence, and anyone responsible for starting a wildfire could be held responsible for the cost of putting it out.
Based on current fire conditions, Bridger-Teton National Forest fire management officials have elevated the fire danger rating to MODERATE. Pinedale and Big Piney/Marbleton will have large fireworks shows put on by their town volunteer fire departments on Friday, the 4th of July. Pinedale’s fireworks are fired from the ballfields behind the medical clinic. Big Piney/Marbleton fireworks are lit from the Marbleton Hill sometime after dark.
