Hampton Inn makes Pinedale’s 5th large hotel

The Town of Pinedale Planning & Zoning Commission will hear a request on Monday, April 7, for a commercial building permit for a proposed new 102-unit Hampton Inn & Suites in Pinedale.
WHI-Pinedale LLC is proposing to build the new three-story, 67,463 square foot building on the northeast corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Pine Street, directly west of the Stromness-BLM Building. The facility will make the 5th large hotel on the west end of Pinedale. The others include the Best Western Pinedale Inn, The Lodge at Pinedale (formerly a Super 8 motel), the Baymont Inn (formerly the AmeriHost), and High County Suites.

Editor’s Note: This building will make the third (correction, 4th: Lodge at Pinedale, Baymont Inn, High Country Suites) large hotel built in Pinedale for which the local fire department does not have a ladder truck with a boom high enough to reach the third floor to perform rescue operations for trapped guests or to adequately fight a fire on the upper floor.
